BlackBerry Bold 9700 Review
The BlackBerry Bold 9700 is due for release in early November, so we thought it was time to give you a review on what it will have to offer.
When you first clap eyes on the BlackBerry Bold 9700, the first thing you will notice is its looks and design – its look flippin great. BlackBerry Bold 9700 is about 1/2 cm smaller than the previous BlackBerry Bold 9000 and the casing is made using a selection of high finish metals and plastics. Gone is the old trackball systems, which has been replaced with a optical trackpad for navigating.
This works in the same sort of way as those you might find on a laptop. This style of navigation has worked really well on the recently released BlackBerry Curve 8520, but you can expect an even better and more intuitive system from the high end BlackBerry Bold 9700 handset. If the outside borrows from the Curve range, on the inside it’s all top notch stuff, with the Bold 2 sporting HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity for high speed web access and downloads. GPS is also included, backup with the BlackBerry Maps app which can also be used as a navigation tool.
There is tons more high end premium features included in the Bold 3. Such as a hi-resolution screen which will display more than 65,000 colours; creating a crisp viewing experience for your photos, videos, files and internet browsing. The 9700 also Syncs with iTunes and Windows Media Player letting you transfer your entire music collection to your phone. There is also the capability to expand its memory up to 16GB, which will give you plenty of space for your movies and photos.
The Bold 9700, also sports a 3.2 Megapixel camera with auto focus and an LED flash, with support for video capture. This puts the Bold 2 on a par with the iPhone 3GS and ahead of the Palm Pre in the mobile phone camera stakes. Finishing things off here, the Bold 9700 comes with full support for BlackBerry App World letting you customise your BlackBerry Bold 9700 with all the latest applications. Compare Bold 9700 Deals.
